Erasing personal history or YouTube search engine in three steps and three seconds
The new privacy policy of Google which came into force on 1 and on which the European Union has opened an information package, is retroactive, meaning that even if it applies from Thursday includes all previous data. The new policy is essentially to cross all the data that Google has about a person (of course without knowing its name). In other words, data that Google has not only means that your browser, but also has other services such as Gmail email accounts, your social network or Google + YouTube video library.
As with any change in privacy, the companies that make them, whether they are Facebook, Apple and Google, agree that is an improvement for the consumer, while the guards of the rights of people, say otherwise. To remove the personal history you should go to Google and search for Web history, or go directly to this page. Having identified the Gmail mail account, you enter a page in English and given the option to “remove” or , delete a link or more, the activity per day or as desired. There is also a button that is directly applicable to the automatic deletion of all the history. The same procedure will follow those with YouTube account and want to delete your historical videos viewed or issued.
In your page in Castilian, Google warns: “However, following industry practice and in accordance with the principles of the Privacy Policy, Google maintains a separate record system designed to audit tasks and improving the quality of services offered to users. ”
The new privacy policy of Google is, as stated by the company, simply a crossing of the data of the various services that a person had. It does not mean that other data collected was not the company simply to be able to put them together, mix and perform data mining to get more out. Nevertheless, the European Union who will say if the change violates the rights of its citizens
