Dragan Djogovic suing U.S. comedian Chelsea Handler
Storm is not calming down because of the issue of the American comedienne Chelsea Handler in which she insulted Serbs. Businessman Dragan Djogovic preparing a lawsuit because of the “Bolshevik name.”
In the show, “Chelsea Lately” on TV channel “E!”, which is part of NBC, Chelsea was on 20 June entire three minutes making fun of Serbia, its officials and citizens.
The occasion was a concert of Amy Winehouse failed and criticism on account of the singer’s performance, which failed to sing any song, make some citizens and public figures, including Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac.
In response to Sutanovic comment on Facebook that “the concert was a shame and disappointment,” Hendler said, among other things, “you know what - your country is also like that,” which met with the Serbian public outrage that resulted in a petition to boycott the “E!” TV as the host does not apologize.
In the article “Chelsea have a problem”, “Hollywood Reporter” says that the citizens of all ages in Serbia annoyed her comments and that is about it launched a Facebook page and organized a petition calling for a boycott of Hendler and its advertiser-funded show.
Facebook page was created by Filip Filipi from the group “Organization June 28,” the humanitarian organization of the Serbian diaspora in Chicago. He was in a telephone statement yesterday said that the “negotiations” with the management Hendler on her official apology, which, believe it will soon follow, says, “Hollywood Reporter.”
“We hope that it will be today or tomorrow,” he said.

Hendler has so far not apologized. A participant in her show Comedian Greg Props, however, said he was sorry because of what happened.
“Dear Serbia, these were a joke, please accept my apology,” he wrote via Twitter, according to “Hollywood Reporter.”
