Chavez will undergo chemotherapy in Havana

Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez announced the delivery of a petition to the National Assembly to authorize him to travel tomorrow to Havana to continue its process of medical treatment for cancer in a new phase to be submitted to chemotherapy. Chavez has said he will travel later in the day to Cuba “to continue, but rather to start, what we have called the second stage of this complex and slow process of recovery is good.”
