Three killed and 25 wounded by car bomb in Aleppo, Syria’s second city

It is the second such attack in two days in Syria

A day after two vans loaded with explosives left 27 dead and some 140 wounded in Damascus today was the city of Aleppo which has suffered the burden of another explosion of a car bomb, Syrian television reported. The first unofficial reports speak of three dead and 25 wounded, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights , which has a network of activists in the country.

Opposition sources cited by Reuters have reported that the attack took place, like yesterday in Damascus, near sites of security agencies.

Syrian state television, as in the previous day, accused terrorist groups by the explosion that occurred between two residential buildings in the district of Al Sulaimaniyah, a predominantly Christian neighborhood, behind the post office. Witnesses have told the observatory, based in London, they saw bodies in the street.

It is the second attack suffered Aleppo, Syria’s second largest city after last February 10 , two explosions reduced to rubble intelligence headquarters and police. At that time, the death toll was 28 and wounded exceeded 150.
